Safe Home Setup: Helping Women Start Fresh
Every woman deserves a home where she feels safe. Safe Home Setup partners with shelters and community organizations to help women leaving domestic violence get started in a new place, with safety upgrades, moving assistance, painting, cleaning and and startup at reduced rates or no cost.

What We Provide
Safety upgrades: Lock changes, smoke and CO detectors, lighting, and door and window repairs
Move-in readiness: Painting, deep cleaning, and minor repairs
Home setup: furniture assembly, blinds and curtain install, and other basics
Facility supports: reduced-rate or donated maintenance for shelters and second-stage housing

How It Works
Your organization identifies a client who needs help and shares only the address and the work needed.
We confirm the scope, schedule, and who will attend, and the client is told in advance who is coming.
A small, vetted team completes the work in a respectful, trauma-informed way.
Client names, stories, photos, and new addresses are never shared or posted without clear consent.
Who Comes To The Door
Safety is about more than locks. Clients can choose between female and male tradespeople, and on request they can meet their contractor by video call before anyone is booked. Every subcontractor we work with comes with references.
